G5 Series Spinner Spreader on Display at Midwest Ag Industries Expo (MAGIE)
Cedar Rapids, Iowa (August 15, 2019) – New Leader Manufacturing’s (NLM) precision technology and commitment to efficiency will be on display August 21-22 at MAGIE 2019 in Bloomington, Illinois. And befitting their status as the leading application system in the industry, a number of equipment manufacturers will feature the next generation of spreading technology.
Four of the top original equipment manufacturers (AGCO, CASE, John Deere, RBR) will be exhibiting their own equipment at the New Leader booth, and also showcasing New Leader systems on ride and drive equipment in their own booths.
The NL5000 G5 is a spinner spreader featuring a patented 16-section swath width control technology, permitting operators to apply nutrients to the soil more accurately and efficiently than ever before with a spinner. This innovative technology reduces overlap, decreases nutrient waste, and ensures nutrients are placed only where they’re needed; allowing ag retailers to balance efficiency with environmental responsibility.
“We are committed to raising the bar on sustainable productivity,” said Rocki Shepard, President and CEO, New Leader Manufacturing. “The G5 technology gives operators the ability to cover more acres each available day and the peace of mind knowing nutrients are being delivered to their intended destination.”
For 80 years, NLM has made a commitment to giving back to the Cedar Rapids, Iowa community and the industry. As part of the NLM charitable giving program, Spreading Good, and H2O, which supplies clean water to African communities, each sale of a G5 precision applicator will provide a permanent, accessible supply of clean water to a village of 250 people in Africa for 15 years.
“We’re driven to building a better tomorrow, both locally and globally,” said Shepard. “Being a good leader is at the core of who we are at New Leader.”
