The decision to bring operations to Brazil was rooted in the country’s position as a leading producer and exporter of many crops—especially soybeans. Brazil also provides considerable agricultural opportunities, including its warm climate that allows for varied crop schedules year-round—meaning advanced farming equipment is needed at all times, in higher demand. Not to mention, Brazil has a reputation worldwide for production and expertise in farming, which is invaluable as New Leader seeks to push innovation and equipment capabilities even further.
Our History
The Highway Equipment Company is founded by Roy Gaddis
Today it would be called a snowmobile. It is used to pull a sleigh carrying people and provisions, replacing a dog team, thereby becoming the “New Leader”
New Leader Manufacturing partners with Ag-Chem, a leading manufacturer of off-road equipment used to fertilize agricultural crops
New Leader Manufacturing partners with Case IH, a leading manufacturer of agricultural equipment systems
Current owners Matt Rissi and Rocki Shepard assume operational control of the company
Revolutionary G4 spinner assembly released, setting the standard for 90% of spinner spreaders in the USA today.
