NLM Statement on COVID-19

To our NLM community and partners:

We have been closely monitoring the national, state, and local situation regarding the spread of the novel coronavirus, COVID-19. The health and safety of our employees, families, partners, customers, and community is our top priority. In these uncertain times, we want to assure you we are doing what we can to minimize the continued spread of this virus.

We are in regular communication with our NLM team members regarding the importance of hand washing, covering coughs, avoiding large gatherings, and the other recommendations put forth by our local, state, and federal agencies. We are sanitizing our facility and common areas more frequently and have requested that meetings be conducted via phone or be postponed until further notice.

We have restricted certain travel and instituted various self-quarantine requirements. While we proudly offer tours of our facility to the public, we are temporarily postponing all future tours and are restricting access to our facility to only our approved suppliers. Most importantly, however, we are offering paid sick leave to any employee who experiences flu-like or other illness-related symptoms. Preventing the exposure of COVID-19 in our facility, maintaining the health and safety of our employees, and assisting our community in “flattening the curve” is of the utmost importance.

We are a small company in a close-knit community. We serve customers in the road safety and agricultural sectors. We understand the importance of keeping our lights on, employees engaged, and customers productive. We are doing everything we can to remain open and serve our customers while still limiting to every extent possible the spread of COVID-19. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact your NLM representative or our HR department.

We will continue to monitor COVID-19 and the national, state, and local recommendations on preventative measures. We remain focused on serving our customers, community, partners, and employees and thank you for your understanding during these difficult and unprecedented times.
