Every year, the Des Moines Register recognizes Iowa companies and organizations as Top Workplaces based on surveys completed by the companies’ employees. The surveys rate individual factors such as job, compensation, and benefits, but they also rate organizational factors such as the company’s values, mission, and culture. This year, New Leader Manufacturing (NLM) is proud to announce our employees’ survey results placed us in the top 25 (#23 to be exact) for 2018! Even better is the fact we were the only manufacturing company to make the list.
We are both incredibly honored and humbled by this recognition. We work hard to create an innovative culture in which our employees are given the tools they need to succeed; where they can be leaders and promote change through positive communication and action. More importantly, however, we work hard to create an environment in which our employees feel valued and respected, and recognized for their hard work.
We’re extremely fortunate to employ some of the finest workers Iowa has to offer. We don’t take that for granted, and we certainly don’t take it lightly that so many talented individuals choose to spend their days with us. To all our employees, thank you for your hard work and thank you for your dedication. But, most of all, thank you for showing Iowa what we’ve known all along: we are fiery, imaginative, steadfast, undisguised, and above all else, champions at what we do and how we do it.
